need help with ez track dx motherboard

I found this sight while trying to fix a problem with a friends bridgeport it starts to boot then i get a "bad command error about half way thru the 3 axis disc and it wont read the other two axis disc any more or the backup disc it keeps saying that its not bootable and it use to be? so i try the M/B battery but there is none i took the board off of the cabinet and there is no battery at all?? i replaced the floppy drive does the same thing? Im lost from here??? we would also like to up grade it and need to know what mother board we can upgrade to and do we have to replace the bdmc or bmdc card & translator card if we upgrade???? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

You did not give us much data. if this a full size mother board? Do you know what the battery looks like? Check CMOS for the correct time, data, and hard drive and floppy drive parameters. This will tell you if the CMOS back up battery is working.
What version are you trying to load?
There are many posts here on how to nuke a hard drive. Just search.
EMI-inc.net can sell you a full set of disks.

sorry yes it is a full size mother board and the battery is square ive neve seen a square cmos battery before it is acting like the battery is low so im gonna solder it off and try to ind this kind of baterry any ideas where i can get one?the version of software is 3.2 i thinkl im not at the shop right now buit it use to load all the disc( 3axis and 2 axis) even the backup and then all of the sudden it wouldnt load them or it loads the one and says bad file name or command about three fourths of the way into booting i tried a different floppy drive but it does the same thing??? im really lost now i will try the battery then get back with you thanks
