My machine sat for 3 months. The last time I ran it, there were no issues. I turn on the machine and it boots normally, loads the BMDC, press 7 to turn on drives, press 8 to home everything - no problems until I start pushing buttons: The Tool Release Button is lit up green, but is non-responsive when pressed. There is no air line noise and can't feel anything mechanical moving. Dead as a door nail. The + and - Buttons on the control are non-responsive when attempting to jog. However, the jog turn knob works. The Run and Hold Buttons are non-responsive. Speed and Feed Turn Knobs are non-responsive. The spindle will start and run normally after entering the commands manually. Current Status: Here are the state of the LEDs on circuit boards (Which are all normal): BMDC: Blinking Green/ Steady RED on D2 LED at the very corner of board AUF: Blinking Red LED (D12)/ Steady Red LED (D11) TLAUF: Blinking Red LED (D5)/ Steady Red LED (D4) X, Y, Z Axis Boards: All 3 are Steady Green I pulled the BMDC board and cleaned the contacts and reinstalled. Checked continuity of all fuses. I don't even know where to begin. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

| Is power going to these switches? Do not have print in front of me but on a V2XT these run on 12 VDC from the logic power supply and if the CMOS battery leaks it takes out the 12VDC. I would imagine the TC-22 uses the AUF and 24 VDC. There are 2 airplane type pop out breakers behind the AUF. I have had these develop a high resistance and some things stopped working. I have to find a print to see what is common to these switches. George

| Machintek, I replaced the CMOS battery a while back and it still looks brand new. I could not find any breakers behind the AUF card, but there were two fuses underneath the card that I overlooked when frantically checking the ones across the top of the cabinet a few days ago. Sure enough one of them was blown. I replaced the blown fuse and the monster has risen. Once again, you help proves once again to be invaluable. Thanks! |
