Need Help!- Bridgeport Interact 412 Spindle Orientation ?

Hi,

I am trying to set my Spindle Orientation for a tool change.

My Manual says i need to fit a test switch ( set open ) between wires red/blue & Green/red on 17CR. So can i jump the 2 wires together or do i need some kind of switch ?

When I do a M19 or a M6 my spindle spins but it doesn't find the spindle orientation for a tool change. The spindle will stop but it takes a while and stops at random locations.

sure sounds like something is up with the spindle drive

Hi Gus,

The Spindle Orientation was working correctly but i messed it up somehow trying to fix my other problem ( Axis PSU fault.) I tried jumping the Red/Blue & Green/Red wires but the spindle keep turning.
I guess it might be time for the professionals.

I think you may be right. Something is wrong with the spindle drive.
