Hi
Can anybody assist , i have a tool change problem, with a H21 Code coming up, is there an easy way to reset this as the spindle wont rotate or home the machine, please advise.

I don't have a list of the alarms for an XR with a Heidenhain control, what is a h21?

In the operators manual it should tell you how to use the "help function" to do a tool changer recovery. You may need an activation code to enable the "help function"

on top of te toolchanger is a bolt size 12 or 13 mm i believe turn with wrench until toolchanger is in home position then you can pusch "ce" button to clear fault its easy with 2 people 1 turning the other puschin "ce" it needs to be exact in home position to clear fault. if there are any tools in gripper you can remove them by pushin te know on the toolchanger arm the tool releases then. when done check tooltable en go.
