Mach 3 has a plugin Huanyang VFD controller plugin , there may or may not be what you need there.
And then on woodwork forums there is going to diffinitely going to be something there. Tips for Newbie Huanyang VFD users - Woodwork Forums
First post...........
I just purchased a Bridgeport mill and Huanyang VFD 3HP(223) off ebay. The motor is a 230v 3 phase 1.5hp 60hz
I am going to feed the VFD 230v single phase but wanted to make sure I knew how to program the VFD first as I have heard some stories about people "smoking" thier motors.
I know the factory default is 50hz so I will have to change that.
Anybody have a step by step programming setup for this?

Yes I saw lots of post for the CNC wood router tables but the spindle they use is much smaller than the milling machine motor and was afraid the settings would be different.
I am not sure how many poles my motor has or how to change the factory preset on the VFD from 50hz to 60hz that we run in Canada.
your settings should be about the same except you will ned to change the amp rating and motor kw rating.
I have it running very poorly........it will run for about 2 seconds then shut off.
The screen shows E.O.A.A. or E.O.L.A
Doesn't sound like I would expect either........sounds like gears ratteling.
Any ideas?
http://www.cnczone.com/forums/diy-cn...periences.html this should have any info you need for that type of vfd. The only problem is that it is so flooded with posts that I wish you luck reading it.
