BMDC

Can anyone tell me what bmdc boards would be compatible with my
torg-cut 22?
My board is a bmdc 3s rev a
#31944009
fab #31944008

Will a bmdc 3s cv #32944367 out of an EZ trac work?

Thanks for the insight

Ran into this my self a few months ago. Had a customer who had a issue wth his Torq. We swapped his bmdc out of his EZ to fix the problem. Don't remember what the numbers on the board were.

I have been working with my torq-cut 22 bmdc
I have a 486 setup out of the machine to test with.
I have a new harddrive , powersupply and used MB that will get installed in the TC once all is working as it should.
I have everything booting fine and running right up to getting BMDC not running and then the C>.
I run the B3T.exe and the bmdc passes everything except the
Analog Device Test which I get S-DAC Error!!
From what I have read through back post is that the BMDC sent 10v to the drives but did not see an encoder return data that an axis moved.
Am I looking at this wrong?
Does the BMDC need to be in the machine for this test to be accurate
or does this just show a problem with the BMDC?
Even in the machine the BMDC will not see an axis move until it has loaded the software and the drives enabled.
Thanks for the help

Rein staled the computer in the tc-22 today plus the bmdc.
There are no errors when I run the b3t.exe except the BMDC will not load.
Is this a fault in the BMDC or software loading from the harddrive to the
bmdc?
Going to replace the bmdc if thats the problem just want to make sure.
I have talked to emi the last couple days and they have been very helpful.
They will exchange a bmdc for $1160.
This way there is a guarantee that you arent getting a faulty board

purchased a reman bmdc board today for my tc-22
Just want to know what you guys think should be checked before I install the board and put power to the machine.
I have read through previous post about l1 and l2 getting burnt on the bmdc
because of the 5v being to high.
If this happens will this keep the bmdc from functioning?
Where can I check the 5v at to make sure itis within specs?

I put the new BMDC board in my tc-22 tonight and now I can get the machine
as far as getting to the point to reset the drives but the machine wont come out of e-stop
I have checked and have 24volts and when I go to the maint page and watch the I-O bits I see the PC does see the logic changes.
When I watch the tool change ,tool index, jog + or _ and a couple other
bits I can watch the state change but cant see whats holding it in e-stop and not sure how to follow out the 24v to see whats going on
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Worked on the tc some more tonight and now can get the drives to enable but when I do the Z axis drops till I hit the E-stop.
I cant determine if it has power on it or if the weight alone is causing it to
drop.
it stops as soon as I e-stop.
If I am reading the manual right the z axis break releases when the drives are enable.
If so what is suppose to hold the axis ?
I would think the drives enabled would hold the screw from turning through the motor/encoder.
Could the problem be in the z axis drive?
