Hello again, Once I get the wiring for the machine right, I need to time the heidehein encoder that was just replaced. I was told that this could be difficult and could screw things up easily. The method I was told was to disconnect the belt to the z, and turn on the machine and let it home, then connect the belt. My question is how will the machine know its home if the z axis does not hit the limit switch? Any input is very much appreciated. Regards, Brian |
