Hi, Could someone that has a Bridgeport V2E3 / Boss 8 control tell me the voltage coming off the transformer that feeds the DC power Supply? The power supply has (3) 5000uf 200VDC capacitors. My machine has blown 2 of these. I measured my machine and the voltage across these the 2 legs feeding the capacitor is 198volts. That seems high as the servo motors are rated at 140vdc. It is also blowing the (2) 25 amp fuses that are in line and feed the power supply. I have the schematic for the machine, but there are no voltages marked past the incoming service voltages. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Randy Last edited by injuneer; 03-29-2011 at 05:52 PM. Reason: I miss stated my machine type. It is a V2E3 not a R2E3 |
