    DX-32 Setting TLO

I am having trouble setting TLO (Tool Length Offsets) on a Bridgeport with a DX-32 control.

    I have tried the following:

    1. F-3 (Set-Up)
    2. Touch top of part ("Z" zero) with longest tool.
    3. F-8 (TLO=Z)
    4. Enter Tool number, "Enter".

I'm using 3 tools. T1 (center drill) works properly. T2 is over 1" to long when it's at the top of the part.

    I also tried the following:

    1. F-3 (Set-Up)
    2. Touch top of part ("Z" zero) with longest tool.
    3. "7" (Set T//)
    4. Enter Tool number "Enter", Enter "*" "Enter".

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have the same control, When setting the TLO the DRO will display the correct position for T1 only until the tool is called by the program.

The 1 inch you are seeing is most likely the difference in length of the 2 tools.

    Hope this helps
