Problem on Bridgeport VM 1000

I got an error "C300 Zn track Y error" on my Bridgeport VM 1000, does anyone know how to fix it?

It tells me to press END button to reboot, and after rebooting i got the same error.

Sounds like an encoder or drive failure.
I'd track the cable and check for a break, then switch the X & Y motors, they should be the same, if problem persists in Y then likely bad drive, if error moves to x, encoder/motor.
