i have a ez-trak sx series 1 that the encoder has failed on a cleveland machine controls motor. the encoder itself is also made by cmc model 2DM0250P-05L50AS1. any recomendations on a replacement? I can not find any info on this encoder. i did run accross a Heidenhain ERO1420 360731-12 encoder that they say will fit the ez-trak.

any ideas on where to find a cross reference sheet or anyplace to get a replacement encode for this motor? the Heidenhain ERO1420 360731-12 encoder fits the original sem motors but the overall size and bore of the cmc encoder is alot bigger. i can not find any info at all on this encoder. all i know about it is that it is a 250 ppr encoder like the oem motor encoder.

For through hole encoders, try Renco or Hengstler.
