Does anyone have the dimensions for a Bridgeport Series I feed nut bracket? I want to convert my machine to ball screws, and would prefer not to tear it apart just to measure the dimensions. I am willing to make a new bracket if necessary to accomodate the ball screw nuts, but if I can will try to adapt them to fit the stock bracket. I am considering using Roton ball screws however they do not offer 1.25" ball screws to match the Acme screws that came with the machine. I am considering using 1" ball screws instead. I have considered buying a complete kit from Rockford Ball Screw but it costs considerably more. I can handle CAD files for AutoCad 2000 if that is what is available.  |
