I have a TC-22 with a DX-32 control and have been using it for about 4 months with no issues and the other day we fired it up to make some parts and the carousel just keeps turning until it alarms out. So we went through the manual and all the tests and found that we are getting inconsistent voltages out of the LCTLAUF board going to the proximity sensors. So we thought after some testing that we had a bad sensor so we changed it out and still have the same problem. So we are leaning towards the board being bad but I was wondering if anyone may have a suggestion on what to check before buying a new board? Has anyone else had this issue? I have searched everywhere and have found no info on this particular issue so I assume either it is very common and an easy fix that we are just to dumb to figure it out or we got big problems. And yes I am a complete newb and I personally have very little experience with cnc machines at all and my business partner is only really good at running them and not so much on the fixing part. We are both reasonably literate with electronics but we could really use some help on this. Thanks in advance! Jake |

| You are correct that it may not be seeing the tool pocket one proximity switch. This switch can be selected in the maintenance page as one of the switches to watch and can be verifies that way. Could be the switch or a broken wire. The switch has lights on it to indicate if it is on or off. It can be seen if you remove the upright plate facing the operator on the tool changer. The tool count switch is there too. BUT, 95 percent of the time it is a faulty relay on the LCTLAUF. These relays short so then the carousel never stops going around and around. George

| Hey thanks a lot for the reply. We did have the plate off and could see the switches indicating as they should and we did check the wires so I guess we will go for the relays now and see what we can find. Thanks again, Jake |
