FANUC 21i Software Restore by RS232

    Hello,
Unfortunately, I lost parameters by suddenly down of SRAM battery.
I have NC parameters and ladder on floppy disk.
PCMCIA interface is out of order. But last time its RS232 interface was OK.
Is there way to upload ladder and NC parameters using RS232.

On settings page I/O is set to 4 for PCMCI card..If set to 0 or 1 then machine communicates RS-232..You will have a lot more to worry about then just the NC Parmaters and ladder..That machine has embedded macros for the Toolchange Program and the functions of the custom screen...also has a macro executer to display the custom screens that Bridgeport used..Because you are in Pakistan may be wise to contract Bridgeport UK,,which is now Hardinge, in Leciester, England. Other than that I have no contact info
