im having issues with y it wants to run away as i call it some times it jumps a .001 at a time on the counter. i'm running the oringal drives and stepper motrs controling it with machine masters card to a breakout board running mach 3. any ideas would be great. it does not show its moving on screen in mach.

Does the y axis move on it's own, while the machine is idle (with drives powered)?

Have you checked your backlash settings recently?

yes just moves while idle drives on. last night i changed the step low setting on and added 500 to debounce and it seams to be working so far.
