| dreammstr6, thanks for the reply PLC center is where i had in mine to send it. I talked to them a month ago and seemed like good people. estimate was from $600-$900, There must be something that goes out in common on these boards. looks like thats where i will send it since you seem happy with their service |

| Mine is a BMDC3S Rev A I talked to PLC center today and the board is going to them tomorrow. Be glad to get the machine back together. Going to go over it good with some maintenance. Air lines need cleaned out up to the shot pin setup. Just needs a good gone over. Want to replace the windows in the enclosure after that. |

Lexan can be expensive and difficult to work with. The glass in my machine was HORRIBLE when I got it. It looked like frosted glass. Well, a guy from the body shop in my building said he could make it look new. I popped all 3 panels out, and gave them to him. He comes back 45 minutes later with three crystal clear pieces of lexan. They look amazing! All he did was use some kind of glazing compound and a buffer. Brian EFI-Unlimited |

| I got the estimate back today from PLC Center to repair my BMDC board. It was $1475 to repair it. This seems a little ( hell a lot) extreme to repair this. I can not justify this kind of money for a home machine. Anyone ever looked into a retrofit? The hardest part would have to be the tool changer I would think. Until then Ill keep looking for another board. |
