Bridgeport Discovery 308 SX 15 Emergency stop error

New to the site, although I have trolled the boards for years looking at bits of info. I'm a computer engineer and pretty good with electrical. I've been hitting the web looking for info for this issue.

I am helping a friend with a Bridgeport discovery 308 SX 15. The screen says it is running Boss 15 v.4.40

On power up we receive the following msg:

MSG (Time) Emergency stop switch

I've checked the interlock and it looks fine, the oil seems to be at correct level, e-stop is out, I know that there is something that we're missing, and I was hoping that maybe someone out there had an idea.

We have power cycled the machine entirely, but i'm not sure of the correct power off\on procedure. We can be sure that the machine was not powered off correctly or was it powered on correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Emergency stop is wired to SAF board K21-3 to K21-4. Check that and if the SAF is running.
