Hi all Im new ere my name is mick I run my own business with star and citizen sliding head cnc,s and a hardinge tallent fixed head cnc lathe,I was going to purchase a Bridgeport manual mill for the occasional homework or tooling job but looking at the price a decent one fetches I am now looking at a Interact 1 series 2 machine in very good condition with a Heidenhein TNC 2500 CONTROL for just a couple of grand more ,what are your thoughts on these and do I need to look out for anything in particular,I have been programing Fanuc for 20 years so I have programing knowledge but not on this control cheers Mick |

| Many in the field. Fairly recent control (very reliable) but CRT is expensive to replace. Bosch drives. Typical Bridgeport mechanical variable speed head. Many, many parts have been made on these machines in the last 20 years. It all depends on price and how well the machine was maintained. George
