We have a Bridgeport CNC machine with TNC370 control. Its Z axis motor encoder is not working. The specs are as under. Motor Spec: SIEMENS 1FT5074-0AC71-1-Z Encoder : HEIDENHAIN ROD 350 500 P/R We want to replace the encoder. So plz guide how to dismantle the encoder from motor shaft.  |

| On the side of the end cover of the motor there is a slotted head plug.Remove this and with a torch look in and you will see the coupling for the encoder.Turn the coupling until the clamping screw lines up with the plug hole.Loosen clamping screw,remove three clamps from encoder body and remove. |
