I would like to purchase CAD software for a Bridgeport Explorer (3 Axis) Mill with a DX 32 Control. I have found it difficult to program this machine using the DX 32 Control. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Bob Adams |

| Do you have the programming manual for your control? I have a Discovery 308 with a DX32 control. Not to difficult to program, but a few things are different at least with mine than what I am used to. What kind of programs are you trying to make? For the CAD part I use Solidworks 2010 big $$$ and for the CAM I use OneCNC medium $$. But for simple projects it is faster to just program in the part. There are some simple g code generators on the EMC Wiki site if you have either a Linux machine or virtual machine. John |
