BPRT BOSS 6.....

Sorry guys but every time I show up here it seems I need some type of help! AS the heading says...Boss 6 series two BPT. My baby worked fine when I shut her down a couple months ago. Went to fire her up and nothing on the readout board. It's all blank and seems dead. It starts up as far as after I throw the switch in the back I pull the Estop button back out and when I push the limit reset the air break on the spindle unlocks. That's it. No axis will move in set-up. No read out of anything. All is black. I didn't try the spindle yet.
I've always shut her down by pushing the Estop before dropping the switch in the back and then turning off the breaker at the box.
Any suggestions on where to start looking? Fuses? breakers? connectors? What to test?
Thanks for any info........
Edit.......The spindle works fine. Just dead on the board and all the axis. The machine sits in air conditioned shop.

Start with the +5VDC power supply.

I believe I may have found the culprit or at least part of it. FUSE #20 is a corroded mess. I have find a replacement and give it a try. I'll report back later.

I have to say this the luckiest Fri I have had in a while! I open the side panel on my monster and just gaze in at all the boards and fuses and wires running every where thinking.....what am I getting myself into now? So I sit there and gaze for a little and then for some unforeknown reason I move my hand closer to the #20 fuse holder and sure enough it seems very loose. So I unscrew it and there it is...a Buzz BAN-20 fuse all corroded and falls to pieces in my hand. I have no idea what drew me to that fuse holder. So I start phoning up electronic supply places...nope,nope,nope,nope that's all I'm hearing. OH, one said they could order it for me but there was a min amount of 10 @ 3.60 each!! So my next call is to Graingers....3 different people cross reference me to 3 different fuses ON the fourth call I finally get someone who can stand on there own. Yep, he says, we have 3 BAN-20 fuses in the whole state of AZ and they're at store #602. How much are they I ask? He responds with .28 each!!!!! I'm thinking OK, somethings not right here. I have him check again and sure enough he says they're there and that much $. Now I have to spend $20 in gas and a 2 1/2 hr round trip on the road. (I have a real road-boat guzzler) but I can happily say that the fuse was the culprit
Thanks to George for his help on where to start looking and now it's beer thirty time.

If anyone needs a BAN-20 fuse let me know and I'll send you one!
