Have a 1997 vmc 800 with a dx32 control...looking for parameters..

The parameter file is a function of the software version.
It is called the BMDCPRMS.SYS file.
And such items as orient, tool change height, backlash, pitch error comp, spindle speeds, spindle gain, spindle encoder are machine specific.
Usually it is easier to install the software and it creates a generic parameter file which then gets edited.

Recently replaced Z axis thrust bearing...went to check Z travel looks good...ran a program and looped it about 30 times....checked Z and it grew .006 . Shut down and restarted and zero went back to zero...ran a loop and z grew again....????? any clues
