Boss 5 Mist pump plumbing question

I'm retrofitting an old Boss 5. I've got the machine running on Gecko's. Now I'm trying to hook up the lube pump and I have no documentation on this pump.

It has a power lead which kicks a solenoid valve. A port for compressed air. And what appear to be 2 output ports. One on the back of the unit and one at the front. When I hookup the air coolant streams out of the front port way too fast and the solenoid valve has no control over it. The port on the back is controlled by the solenoid valve, but appears to be pushing just air and no coolant.

Does anybody know anything about this pump?

Are you confusing the lube pump and the mist pump?

no, definitely not confusing the two. Lube pump is all hooked up. Now I'm working on the mist pump.
