Need Help!- Bridgeport Interact 412x tnc 2500

Please help, the company i work for got a 412x tnc 2500 bridgeport . no manuals where sent with it. Went to Heienhan.com and downloaded the manual, but i cant get the machine to home it's axis's or get the door open. any help iwould be grateful thanks Tim

Does the control come on? Is power into machine correct? Is the 24VDC there?

If this is not where you are at give detailed information and try reading old threads along these lines

If the control comes up but the drives do not turn on, maybe the emergency stop button is pushed in. This machine may have 2 24VDC power supplies. One powers the control. One powers the relays and switches, etc. Maybe if you do have 2 of these power supplies, one has no output. I do not know when I will get to the office to look for a schematic.

Gus ,I apologize for being a smart@##. .I followed what the manual said to do. power on
Display says" Memory Test"
The it says Power interrupted.
I press CE
Then 'I'
Like the manual say's
Then the display say's Pass Over Reference Point.
When I did what you said
CE
c \start 3 times

The display says
Gross Positioning Error Z C

Thanks George, So far this is what i have done.
Power up machine.
[Memory Test]shows on display.
[Power Interrupted]shows on display.
I press[CE]
[Relay Ext. Voltage Missing]doesnt show on display(it should?)

I press [I] like manual say's.
[Pass over reference point] shows on display.

Gus said to press [CE] then c/start 3 times.
When I do this[Gross Position Error z c ] appears on display.
I will check on(2)24vdc power supplys Friday.
If I am not giving enough info please let me know. I am new to this .

DO the drives power up when you hit power enable?

I am not that familiar with that machine, some of them do not know that they have not been 'enabled' so will spit out the gross pos error.

end of the day, you do not have 24v you need to figure out why.

You need to locate a bridgeport manual, sometimes ebay.
