Looking for a copy of the files on the boot disk for a EZ-Trak SX. Our current disk was damaged, and while I thought we had a back-up, apparently at some point it was damaged as well. We were on version no. 2.25/4.43. I've tried going through Bridgeport to obtain a copy of the disk, but have yet to have any luck. If anyone has access to or information regarding these boot files, any help would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note, somewhere in my searching for these files, I believe I remember reading about having to create a "system disk" and that the files could not just be copied on to a disk and used without first creating a system disk... anyone have any input on this as well?
Thanks to all.
The SX booted from a floppy so the disk had to have basic (enough to boot and run the machine) DOS on it. This DOS matched the machine files also on the disk. I believe DOS 5.0 was used. You cannot mix DOS 6.20 and older machine files.
I believe version 3.02 may work. It is a boot disk and has a screen saver and looks for a hard drive. If one is not found, it creates a RAM disk.
