| I have a series 1 2J CNC machine with a KS200 spindle. I have looked at the Tormach tooling and I like the concept. In a past life I used to run a bridgeport series 1 and under heavy cutting the endmills would drop. Do the auto drawbar systems solve some of this. Will they make it so the Tormach system is reliable. I do not envision using tooling greater then 3/4", maybe some fly cutters. Tooling for the KS200 is costly and hard to find. Upside of KS200 tools will not move real solid. Adding a spindle incoder is much easier (no draw bar). |
