PSU for Series 1 CNC

Have started gutting a new-to-me Series 1 CNC. It was apparently in working condition when I bought it, except no apparent way to load a G-code file.

But my tiny garage is single phase only, so have a VFD to run the spindle motor, but it seems that I can't run the power supply for the axis motors off single phase. Drat!

So, plan to put 3 Gecko's in place now, and leave space for a 4th later.

Any idea what would be the ideal replacement PSU to power the drivers only? This mill appears to have the original stock factory steppers on it, and they all work just fine.

I notice that the schematics show a 53 V dc line going to all the steppers. Is this the stepper power line, or is the power line a higher voltage?

Can be run on 220v single phase or 110v single phase.
