BP Explorer Spindle Overload Alarm

Hello
Can anyone help? got a spindle overload alarm on my DX-32 and cannot clear it. I have shearched for the obvious blown fues or burnt wires, Is there a thermal protection reset that I am missing or did we burn out a motor or worse yet a board? Also my Interact 1 Mk2 w/TNC151 the spindle stopped mid cut and gave an E-STOP alarm. After complete shutdown and restart I cannot get past the E-STOP. any suggestion short of retrofit? Being new to this forum, these may be the same old questions but I had 2 machines fail in the same day.

Thank You

re

Dunno on the explorer, but on the interact, just follow the emo string.

limit switches, oil level, etc

get a manual, follow the flow chart, no real mystery

2 machines in one day, perhaps it aint the machines

There are 2 large contactors that turn the spindle motor on for forward and reverse, then the 3 phases go through a overload. This overload has a reset button. Try that.
If the spindle air brake cylinder does not release, it will trip. or if you are tapping and do more than 6 spindle reversals a minute, it will trip.

Are you by chance on a phase converter?
You may have lost a phase in the shop.

Thanks for the tip on the contactor reset button the explorer is back up and running. As for The interact, I have borrowed a frends maintenance manual and will try the flow chart monday. Hope it's as easy as the explorer.

Interact 1 Mk2 has a spindle drive. Probably a KTK. That may be a large can of worms.
