Hi hope someone can help i have a bridgeport 308 discovery sx 15 control, the machine has been updated about (1yr. ago) with the latest software and single board computer from EMI. The FMDC board, Z axis motor and encoder were replaced about 2yrs. ago. The problem im having is the z axis is overshooting the positive limit by .005 to .010" every time head goes to the home position,therefore affecting TLO. and tool change height. Ive checked the limit switch, the pulleys for slippage,the z motor is not over heating and i tried switching the y and z cards and the problem still persists. any help would appreciated, thanks  |
