Hi,
I had the same problem a while ago with Mikron+ tnc315. I cleaned the contact surfaces from dust and other s***, and it helped.

Hi All,
I have a Bridgeport 720 with a TNC 2500 control, it keeps loosing memory/parameters as soon as it is turned off, I have replaced the backup batteries, but the problem persists, has anyone else had this problem? Or can anyone offer a solution?
Regards
Marc

I'm not knowledgeable in this system so I offer this just as a guess. I would also recommend cleaning the backup battery terminals. Most battery back-up circuits use a diode to isolate the battery current from the powered system. You might try to locate that diode and check with an ohmmeter. Lastly, with the AC power off, check for battery current being provided to the system. Try to follow the circuit board traces from the + terminal of the battery.
