CNC Knee Mill Quill Design

Does anyone have a knee mill conversion with a quick disconnect quill X Axis
I can't afford the Elrod design which is awesome,

You mean like this?

Flip the lever and it disconnects the drive.

I was going to do this on my conversion, I now find it easier to type a line of code than use anything manually on the mill

Just curious thats all
