Hi. I have been running this machine with the z axis inhibited (Parameters 51 to 3 Parameters 55 and 56 to "on.") I have not used the z axis for some time because the z feed belt is broken.
Tried switching on my machine today. Z feed servo is now getting power and spinning constantly presumably looking for its reference dogs. It has never done this before with these parameters. While this is happening i can reference the x and y axis as normal but the z feed just keeps going until the thermo switch cuts it out and the machine powers down
Anyone know why the servo might suddenly be getting power constantly? Is there a relay that might be stuck on somewhere in the cabinet?
Thanks guys.
