Hi,

We've been having strange issues with the RS-232 connection on our 1996 BP Torq Cut 22 with a DX-32 controller. We are able to send our programs from the machine to our personal computer (which is using CNC-PC, a legacy database/comm program), but not the reverse; the Bridgeport can't receive sent programs. We've been able to eliminate the personal computer as the culprit through testing.

We had our CMOS battery fail about two and a half weeks ago, which we've since replaced. Default CMOS settings were loaded up, which we've attempted to modify but with no luck as far as fixing the RS-232 comms issue. We are uncertain if the issues are from a hardware failure, the I/O board doesn't show any obvious damage, and using different RS-232 cables didn't make a difference. Unfortunately, our floppy drive has been out of commission for many years, the cause of which we can't isolate, either.

Just looking to see if someone with this year and the DX-32 controller has any experience with this issue, and could advise or post pictures/details regarding their CMOS settings.

Thanks a lot in advance!
