V23 grooving without roughing, want to just finish groove

    Hi all,

I am new with using Bobcad and have a machining situation on a lathe where I would like to skip the roughing pecks that a grooving cycle does on a diameter. I would rather it do just the finish passes as the material is just alum. Is there a way to get the finish cycle without using the roughing cycle first?

    Thanks,
    Chad

    Hi Chad,
I think the cycle type in the feature edit. Just choose one of the single op types. Put 0 for your peck values. I'm not much of a lathe guy so I could be wrong. If this doesnt do it, can you be more specific? Even post a file is better.
