Attempting to CNC my lathe. Have computer, have driver, have stepper motors. The problem is my computer is approximatley 15 feet from my lathe. Which cables would be the best to make the longest run? The cables from computer to driver or the driver to stepper motor cables? I would like to have my drivers about 5 feet away from the computer. Any help in this matter greatly appreciated. MR Motion |

| MR MOTION, You will be better off with longer driver to motor cables verses using a long parallel port cable. Just make sure the stepper cabling is the correct gauge to carry the rated current. Jeff...
