I happen to see this ad on the CNC Zone home page and figured I'd spread the word. I don't know what they're actually selling for $1, or how to get it, but for those that are interested it's hard to imagine a better deal... Attached is the ad which points to this URL... http://ads.cnczone.com/utopia/www/de...nnerad2007new2 The link goes here... http://www.bobcad.com/index.php?sele...nnerad2007new2 |

| IF I was intending to purchase my 1st seat, I would be happy to subnit the ad and get it for $1. Would I be within my rights to only have to pay the advertised price. or is this fraudulent advertising Probably $1 / seat + $3K a post |

| I use BC 17 and 20 and they keep trying to sell me v23, It won't work with my current os so they tell me all I need to do is buy XP (I use 2000 pro), isn't this like buying a car and then turn around and buy a truck so you can drive yourself to work? What are they thinking anyways, Oh, maybe they don't. |

| I bought V23 a few months ago, against many posts of problems and "issues" with BobCAD. I bought it only for CAM, as I use SolidWorks for CAD. I find the software fantastic to use, and absolutley worth every penny I paid. That said, I paid $1000 for what they advertise at over $5k in product, and I had them "throw in" a second seat for free in order to seal the deal. A great deal for me, IMO, and works every bit as well as advertised. My understanding is that V22 was very buggy, and really hurt their reputation. V23 seems to have benefited greatly from their experiences. |

| You are all lucky to have got the product in your hand to try and to test. They phone me here in U.K nearly every week to sell me something or other, then when I tell them I am still waiting for promised Disc and manual, they go away and check shipping. Then come back and tell me it has been posted. I assume it has been shipped by rowing boat, or maybe Tom Hanks has it (castaway) Anyway, the problem as I see it , is the company organisation or rather, lack of. It seems to act a bit like our government, not joined up. Left hand not knowing what the..... they come across as 4 or 5 blokes in a portacabin trying shift software at whatever price they can get for it and then you see pictures of the offices/factory and theres hundreds of the b.....rs. if this sounds like a rant I am sorry but just getting cheesed off with whole thing. I wish I had never downloaded the demo in the first place. If it was from the uk I would have gone and banged on the door by now. |

Have you tried the new HSP feature? My brother is telling me it's pretty cool. One heads up for you on this area is most of the posts need to have a modification for them to output the helical ramping properly. An easy fix but you need to know to make it. ![]() Talk to you later. |
