It is very easy to do. Create your BobART surfaces as a negative and generate your tool path! That last one I did was small 1.5 " Radius and a put a picture of a dog in it. It came out really nice and was easy to do. The only tricky thing I had to do was move the origin of the BobART stock so that the dog was in the center of the circle. I cut it out of wax, but I understand corian is a better material to use. I used an 1/8 Ball mill and stepped over .03125 with a planner tool path. It worked great! Please let me know what issues you are having.... ![]() ![]() Last edited by Allen123; 06-17-2009 at 09:14 AM.

Allen123, Has there been any updates to v23 that I may have missed. I tried to open the file you sent to take a look at it and I got an error. It said the file was created with a newer version. I looked on the Bobcad's website but couldn't find any updates. Zach

Thanks, I got the update and was able to open your file. The settings seem pretty similar to mine. I used a 45 degree bit and the details did not come out as good as I would like. I have a 30 degree bit with a .030 tip and a 1/8 ball nose ordered. I am going to try this again when I get the new bits. I will update my progress. Thanks again for the info. Zach

I just ran a ball mill and you can see how good it came out. Forget about the V tip cutters and just run the ball mill. When you say it didn't come out good, can you explain ? Do you have any pictures you can post? The details come out when you hold the part up to a light. That's where the real magic happens!
