Need Help! V23 problem with facing - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

After a bunch of false starts, I'm sitting here ready to make chips. But there is one thing that does not make sense to me.

The first operation is facing off the stock, piece is 3.025 and is supposed to be a .125 cut, so that is to Z 2.90 right?

I have rapid set to .100, top of part 3.025, total depth .125

Looking at he code I see Z 2.7917

What am I missing?

Can you post the file?

There is a setting that is wrong, but I can't see what it is.

Sure, I appreciate the help.

I finaly was able to make chips by removing all the rest of the operations, posting and pasting into the .nc file

It's skipping the first operation. Took me a few to figure that out.
