Hi robard, Welcome to ONECNC! Don't forget to vist the private ONECNC forum after you register your product. They have an excellent users group that will be glad to help you along the way. Some really super guys that know the product. They even have some training videos on different items. ONECNC West also has some nice training videos on-line for the XR3 product. http://onecncwest.com/general/new_evaluation.htm I am a hobbyist machinist and also have the ONECNC XR3 Mill Advantage Product and use it on my HAAS TM-1P 3 axis CNC toolroom mill. See you on the forum. I am JC on the ONECNC forum. John |

Hey John, Look forward to joining oneCNC forum. I also have TM-1. In retrospect my post was inapropriate..I am just a frustrated Bcad ex-customer. Bobcad has it's place as an inexpensive cad/cam package..just that it did not deliver as advertised. I know many bcad users are not in a position to purchase higher end software. I am fortunate that I could afford to switch. If Bcad delivered a product in V.22 (I have owned V.18-V.20) that functioned as promised I would have had no desire to look elsewhere. I became jaded when Bcad did not offer free upgrades to the buyers of the poorly performing V.22 I felt the need to take my business elsewhere. I hope that Bcad can sort out their PR issues and deliver a product that works reliably in spite of my experience. There is definitely a market for their price range of product but they shouldn't promise a Cadillac and deliver a Yugo! I understand V.23 is a vast improvement over V.22 but it is too late for this previous customer. I wish only success for the company and the users of their product. Again, I am sorry for my opening post as it was made in anger. R Ardoin

Dont forget to visit the OneCNC forum in CNCZone and help answer the questions and problems that the OneCNC users have. We all know they exist in BOTH softwares. Good luck Robard, glad you could upgrade.

http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...40&postcount=1 http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...95&postcount=1 http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...52&postcount=1 You can read a few if you like. This was about 45 seconds of looking. The point isnt that OneCNC is Bad, the point is that "ALL" software will have it's issues and need to be run properley to get results. There is not a single forum for cad software, all the way up to the 75,000 dollar range, that doesnt have the same "uninformed" posts in it. People even want to blame "Vista" because their video card wont run on it....

I've run OneCNC and it is good software. The only thing is the price has jumped over the last few years. I am not sure of the current prices but I am sure they are out of reach for me at this time. What did you pay for the OneCNC package and what did you get?
