| bottom of 3d pocket z level finish, is there anyreason that z level finish wont cut across the floor fo a 3 d rectangular pocket with radiused corners and bottom. description in last post. any help would be appriciated. |

| Z Level will do the "Z levels" of a model. Use slice planar to get the x/y flat stuff |

| The Z level finish is a water line tool path. It is used to clear the vertical areas not the flats. You could do a planner tool path like burr said, or just do a 2D pocket to finish the flats. Then run the Z level finish to finish the vertical walls. ![]() This was just a simple pocket to clear stock and finish the flat ![]() Now I did a Z level finish to finish the vertical walls. |
