To get the Internal Verification dialog to work properly, you have to specify the directory to which the RVP files are saved: Open BobCAD V23. Click on Help => Settings Default. Click on the Directories option at the top. Click on the button next to Project and make sure that it points to the ...\\Predator Software\\Common Files\\Jobs folder. Then click OK. That should correct it. Otherwise, run the installation file for Predator. You can find it in the BobCAD V23 directory under "System Files". What is happening when you try to run the backplot in the Editor? Regards

OK...then you will need to check the license status and we can go from there. Click on Help and choose the License option. What checkmarks do you have in the Editor field? Regards

OK...There is a demo period after you install the software for the first time. This demo period gives you access to all of the upgrade modules, except the Equidistant Offset. After the demo period they go back to using the key to determine the status of a license. If you need the backplot, you can call sales and they would be "happy" to help you. Your key can get updated on the same day, normally, to allow you access to the needed modules. Regards

Your post needs to have a predator header in it: (BEGIN PREDATOR NC HEADER) (MACH_FILE=3AXVMILL.MCH) (MTOOL T1 S1 D.5 H5. DIAM_OFFSET 1 = .25) (MTOOL T2 S1 D.5 H5. DIAM_OFFSET 2 = .25) (SBOX X-1.7494 Y-1.2501 Z-1. L3.4988 W2.5003 H1.) (END PREDATOR NC HEADER) This defines the stock for it. If you have this, then you can right click the window and set properties to "solid".

Sounds like your post is not set up properly to generate the header out. Did you just copy the one I posted? It certainly doesnt sound like a proper backploy. What post are you using? Have you modified it at all?

Are you posting in English or Metric? This is probably the issue with the display. Which post are you using? Also, at the top of the Predator Editor there is a drop-down field that has a machine name in it, what do you have there? Regards

backplot/posting backplot in english and im using fanuc 0 that came with v23. i dont know how to edit a post, i did change the numbering to start at 2 and count by two but that only seems to work on certain files. the machine type is whatever bobcad v23 has as i got it. there is no drop down for me to change it to a cincinatti vmc. and my control programs like a plain fanuc. how would i change the post to quit giving me an m08 for coolant. ok current settings are for a mori mv40 mill. how do i change it to a cincinatti arrow 750.
