When he's refering to the mahine dropdwon, its in Predator at the top called "Template".

Then you can choose "Edit-Template" menu item to setup predator with your particulars and name it "Cincinati".

This is for predator.

The post is for Bobcad to generate code with for your specific requirements like "Dont output coolant M08".

You can use the "MillEditPost.exe" to poke around on this. Always make a copy of it first.

C:\Program Files\BobCAD-CAM\BobCAD-CAM V23\MillEditPost.exe

Burrman is right. You can setup the machine file in BobCAD so that when you select a particular machine, a post of your choosing is loaded as well. This is modifying the Machine file in BobCAD. You should be able to find an FAQ on it at the bobcadsupport.com website.

What I need to know is the Machine that is being referenced inside of the Editor, exactly where Burr said to look. It should be just above the code on the left hand side. It is a drop down with several options available.

What might help better to diagnose this issue is the program you are trying to verify, or another file that does the same thing.

To make the M08 output as M8, you will need to edit the post itself. Open the MillEditPost.exe program that is inside the BobCAD V23 directory. Select the post from the drop-down on the right. Click on the M Codes tab at the top. Change the codes that you need to. (They are listed next to their function) Then click Save and close the Mill Post Editor.

Again, can you post a sample program or the program you are trying to verify and let us see what happened?

Regards
