| BobCAD v21 just as a cad program? I last checked it out and saw BobCAD still offers v21. I have been using this for a few years now only as a CAD program to draw dxf files for my CNC router, and to read other DXF part drawings. It has worked well for me and is easier to draw in than AutoCAD LT 2007. Some of the features that stand out are being able to draw repitive rectangles with fillets and storing the last points/sizes in the functon menu. The training info and over 540 page manual has been a great addition to learning CAD drawing, and I was able to draw in 3D very quickly. Though I have never generated any G-code from it, I have made plenty of chips with the CAD drawings from BobCAD. As a Cad program I find it very useful. Does anyone else just use it for the CAD? | Yes! I was digging through some old posts and thought I should reply. ![]() I have used Bob-Cad for quite a while and like it as a drawing program, I tried it for the cam side and soon said F*** this! Sheet cam is perfect for what I do. My .02 cents worth! Steve |
