I have some 3d drawings that I need to dimension. If I change the view to Front the dimensions can only be viewed from the top view. Is there a setting to rotate the dimensions so that you can dimension drawings in different views. I feel like this is something that should be done pretty easily. We do cabinetry work and I have to dimension in floorplan views, elevations, and perspective views. ZachF |

| What you would do is make a copy of the part and rotate for the different view. Then you can have a top side ect view and dimensions of the part. It takes some extra steps but you'll get what you want. Also dimensions work best if they are based on the wire frame. You can dimension a solid by using a **** click to get snap points. But the solid's snap points are not the same as the wire frame. Basically you are copying and rotating the part so all the view you want are really in the XY plane of BobCAD. |

| Well if you snap you ucs to the plane you want to dimension, you can get away with it that way, but.... The text would get all messed up if you were not in the view of the plane. So really the other way this is the most practical way to do it. |
