BobCAD-CAM V22

Hey guys I am a MasterCAM guy but I have been wanting to try out BobCAM-CAD. I just got this software and I cant get the verify to work. The verify wont load when I go to see the tool paths. It keep telling me that the Active X Control is loading but it never finishes. Any of you guys know where I might be able to go to get what I need of know what I have to change to get it to work?

Thanks,
Sparrer

Are you working with the Demo or the Release install?

for bobcad, when you first open the program, if a box does not pop up saying demo mode, then your dongle is good and you are working in full functionality mode. do you have some security issues on your pc with regards to axtive x...? Also are you running xp or vista?

No security issues that I know of against Active X. The only ones I know of are setting for IE and they are all set to allow. Rite now I am running it on a system with XP. I was going to try it on a system with Vista you think it won't work?

Probably needs a re-install of the Predator Virtual CNC 2007 software, happens sometimes with Predator.

Go to your Control Panel and uninstall the Predator Virtual CNC 2007 software completely.
Download the Predator software from the Support Helpdesk and follow the instructions.

Usually does the trick.

Re Vista, there are some specific instructions for use with Vista again at the BobCAD.com Support page.

I ran bobcad V22 on both vista ultimate and vista home premium for the past year and had no issues. Once in a while the memory would get bogged down on my machines and I'ld have to close and reopen V22. I setup up V22 to run on XP setting through vista(very easy to do). Fortuanetly I never had the active x problem. btw, now I have V23 and the memory problems have seemed to vanish.

do you have a pop-up blocker that might be blocking the verify feature?
