Hey Stampede,
mail me your text and I'll have a look.
I currently do 3D solid and surface modelling, I'm sure we'll figure out something.
The software I use support 3d solids from Windows standard texts.

Extrude Solid for each Letter. Make sure your chains are closed.

I'm using Text from BobCad. How do I break the text to one letter?

v22 : Utilities > Explode.
If you're creating the text in Bobcad, you can choose Vectorize in text dialog box and it will be already be exploded.
