Curved bottom slot?

I can't seem to figure this one out, so I figured I'd ask for some help.

I'm trying to figure out a way to create curved-bottom slots for frets on a guitar fretboard. I'll be starting with a 5/16" thick part, which will be cut to a 16" radius along its length. Once that is done, I will be cutting fret slots that are .023" wide, .09" deep, but I want that depth to follow the curvature of the top of the fretboard. The cutter will be .023" dia, so it will be a straight cut, but as I said, I would like to not have a flat bottom. I can't seem to find a function that will work. I can't seem to get a pocket or a profile to work, and am not having much success with trying to create a surface that will work either.
While I'm here, does anyone know if there's a way to add some transparency to the Predator simulation in the Verify function? It would be nice to be able to see into the part during the simulation.

Sample file attached...the blue curves represent the 16" radius, and the green curves are the slot bottoms I'm hoping to get.

Thanks.

I would fixture the part oriented vertically and the surface you want to cut hanging out of the end of the vise, then use a .023" slitting saw/key cutter and cut the fret slots with G02/G03, dropping down in Z for the next fret slot.

I guess I should clarify....

My cnc is a wood router, not a mill. But more importantly, these slots are blind slots, as in they don't go all the way to the edge of the part. They stop roughly .09" shy of the edge, therefore I can't use a slotting saw to cut them. Otherwise, I would simply cut them on my table saw with my slotting setup. This is very different, and must be cut with an endmill. Essentially, this could be a slice planar cut, except that it's only a thin straight line that I'm cutting instead of a larger surface...a single pass, dropping down incrementally until it reaches the .09" depth.

Is the bottom of your slots an arc? If so, explore G18 and G19

Got it working

I had to use the 3D Engraving command to get it to work right. The problem with that particular command is if you have to make the cut in a few passes, you have to create separate tool paths for each pass. Not a big deal, but it does work.

Thanks.
