Problem- V22 Unexpected File Format?

Just tried to open a drawing file I was working on yesterday. It will not open and I get the message "Unexpected File Format". The file extension is BobCAD's native ".bbcd".

It was working fine yesterday. I can open other files that I was working on yesterday and today, without any problems.

I tried to open the backup file with the same results.

Anybody have any ideas?

What was it that you were doing in the file? Was it a BobArt file, did you add Machining Features? Can you recall?

It was just a 2D drawing file made in BobCAD V22. It was saved normally on Tuesday and would not open yesterday.

I have been in contact with BobCAD support and sent them a copy of the file. They cannot open it either.

We repaired BobCAD with the previously downloaded update, which was installed.

We then cleaned out the registry files and checked on minimum system requirements. The computer meets the requirements.

Reset the auto backup to 3 instead of 1, and changed the time interval from 5 minutes to 3 minutes.

This drawing was nothing I can't do again. It's just a major pain having to deal with all the little issues like "Resource Not Available" and "BobCAD Has Encountered a Problem and Needs to Close".

I think most of these problems have to do with the release of memory. I feel it should be a top priority on the next update, which I hope will be soon.
