I tried the demo Bob art that was in with the last update. I scanned in an image of my car to see how it did with a picture. It came out blotchy and not the full outline of my car. Is this suppose to happen and can this be fixed? I am considering buying this if it works. |

| What dpi were you using? The higher the better, "sometimes". What color was the Background and how clean is the scanner bed? These things can all affect the outcome of the BobART system. When the picture was scanned did you verify the quality before opening it in BobART, to make sure there weren't any imperfections? Regards |

BobArt functions by choosing darker colors for deeper cuts. You stated the picture of your car was on a dark background and a black car, this isn't going to function well due to the amount of dark colors in the picture. Try editing the picture inside of BobCad through the Edit Image option Then invert the picture there. If this doesn't work well for you, try changing the red, green and blue to have more contrasting colors in the image. See if this works for you. The Drill |
