BobNest block nesting?

Is there such a thing? By "block nesting" I mean that BobNest will recognize an imported part almost like a bitmap, so that a triangle would nested like a rectangle. In other words, if my part is a right triangle that is 6" wide x 6" long, BobNest would nest them the same way as if they were 6"x6" squares. Please let me know if that doesn't make sense...

The BobNest system can do what you are asking. You have to set it up so that the shapes do not get rotated. That is pretty much all there is to it.

It will only stagger the parts if you allow for a rotation.

The system actually works on a grid when No Rotation is permitted. The only time you should see a stagger is if you have additional shapes that will fit into an area between your primary shape.

I tried the nesting with no rotation, and pretty consistently I run into a problem where BobNest still tries to stagger the parts (see images 1 and 2). The reason it is important to block nest in our situation is because these parts are being cut out of perforated (diamond-shaped) aluminum, and I'm cutting along the geometry of the material in order to get smooth edges. The third image is what I want... Everything lines up in the x- and y-directions. The third image is a screen shot of the Torchmate CAD, but I'd like to use BobNest because it's a stronger program.
